PQI Limited Warranty
PQI values your business and always attempts to provide you the very best of service. Please note the following information and limitations when requesting assistance from the PQI customer service department.
 
Warranty Policy
  • PQI warrants that PQI brand products, under normal circumstances of usage, are free from defects in material and workmanship. For any unit proved to be defective, PQI will, at its discretion, either repair or replace the unit, free of charge. The replacement unit will be either new or repaired, at PQI's option.
  • The following conditions will void the warranty:    

A. Damage to the product (visually/physically damaged), such as burned mark on memory contacts/pins; missing or broken memory components and card adapters; broken housing;

B. Modifying or tampering with the product, product components or product labels, such as product stickers/warranty labels/components are missing/removed or not in original condition.

  • This warranty is subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below.
Warranty Period
For products purchased on or after August 1, 2006
  • Lifetime Warranty: PQI brand computer memory module, Compact Flash (excluding  Industrial type), Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, mini i-Drive i810, Travelling Disk i221/i261, USB drives (excluding drives with Mr. Flash logo)
  • 5-Year Warranty: DiskOnModule, Industrial Compact Flash 
  • 3-Year Warranty: Intelligent Stick 2.0, Intelligent Stick 2.0 Plus, Intelligent Stick Pro 220, 2.5" IDE flash disk
  • 2-Year Warranty: USB card readers
  • 1-Year Warranty: Non-PQI brand computer memory modules, MP3 Player, mPack, mTrix and Mr. Flash logo products.
  • Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO/DUO/PRO Duo and xD-Picture Card are subject to the original manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty Period

For products purchased from August 2, 2004 to July 31, 2006
  • Lifetime Warranty: PQI brand computer memory module
  • 5-Year Warranty: Compact Flash, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, DiskOnModule
  • 3-Year Warranty: Intelligent Stick, 2.5" IDE flash disk and PC card adapters
  • 2-Year Warranty: USB readers, Travel Viewer, and USB flash drives (excluding drives with Mr. Flash logo)
  • 1-Year Warranty: Non-PQI brand computer memory modules, MP3 Player, Intelligent Frame, mPack, mTrix and Mr. Flash logo products.
  • Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO/DUO/PRO Duo and xD-Picture Card are subject to the original manufacturer's warranty.
Warranty Period
For products purchased on or before August 1, 2004
  • Lifetime Warranty: PQI brand computer memory module
  • 3-Year Warranty: CompactFlash, Secure Digital, MultiMediaCard, Intelligent Stick, USB flash drive, USB readers, PC card adapters, DiskOnModule and 2.5" IDE flash disk
  • 1-Year Warranty: Non-PQI brand computer memory modules, SmartMedia, Memory Stick, xD-Picture Card, Travel Viewer, MP3 Player, Intelligent Frame
 

Computer memory modules

The following parts are not covered by this warranty:

  • Modules that are missing the label containing our part number
  • Turbo Memory with the heat spreader removed.
  • Modules that were purchased from other end users
  • Modules that PQI determines were not manufactured by PQI, i.e., counterfeit PQI modules.
The part you return will be tested upon receipt at PQI. If the part is a good part according to PQI's test, it may be shipped back to you, or it may be replaced. If the part fails PQI's test and/or the part is no longer manufactured, it will be replaced by a part that passes the test.
Note: Modules with PMI's label will also be covered under PQI memory products warranty.
 
Warranty Procedure
  • Contact the PQI customer service department at usrma@pqigroup.com.
  • Have your proof of purchase and the product serial number, if any, ready when you contact the PQI customer service department. Acceptable forms for proof of purchase are your purchase receipt, invoice or the PQI warranty card signed and dated by the store.
  • You may also download the RMA request form (see forms at end of page), fill it out and email it back to usrma@pqigroup.com along with the invoice/receipt or fax it back to us at 1-510-651-2870
  • Our service personnel will provide a returned merchandise authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions for return of the product. No return will be accepted without pre-authorization, the RMA number clearly marked outside the shipping box, and the freight prepaid at your expense. Shipping company with online tracking and insurance covered such as UPS and FedEx are recommended. Please do not mail the product back in unprotected envelope with Post Office because we have seen many are opened and the products are missing.
  • The RMA number is only valid for 30 days from the issue date. It is your responsibility to ensure PQI receives your product within the 30-day period. After expiration of the 30-day period, you must follow the above procedure and request a new RMA number. PQI reserves the right to refuse the product return.
  • The warranty period for the repaired or replaced unit will be the remaining warranty period based on the original purchase, or 30 days from the repair or replacement completion, whichever is longer.
  • Any dispute must notify PQI within 90 days from the request date or the RMA is considered closed and final.

 
Disclaimers
  • PQI is not liable for damage caused by fire, natural disaster (such as flood, thunder, lightning, earthquake, etc.), third party usage, accidents, improper temperature or humidity, or damage caused by misuse or malfunction through simultaneous use of the PQI product and the connected equipment.
  • This warranty supersedes all other warranties or representations, oral or written. In no event will PQI be liable to anyone for any damages, expenses, lost revenue, lost savings, lost profits, lost images or data, or any other incidental or consequential damages as results of the purchase, use or inability to use of the PQI product, even if PQI has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
